Blog feedback and learner response

WWW: This is very concerning and to be honest the main positive we can take from this is that it’s still early in the course and you can turn this around. Ultimately, this is a harsh lesson in organisation and workload – currently, you’re not organised and you’re not putting in enough work. As we’ve made very clear, there is a lot of work to do at A Level and you need to commit at least five hours of homework per week to each subject/option block. My guess is that currently you’re not doing anywhere near this and that’s why the work is missing. Use this as an opportunity to catch up and keep up from now on. EBI: Very simple here – you need to post the missing and unfinished work. For my side of the course there is only an unfinished Semiotics post – nothing else. It’s vital that you use this feedback to get organised, post work to the right blog, get everything up to date and then keep on top of the workload from now on.   1) What are the preferred, negotiated and oppositional readings for the RBK 50 Cent advert? The preferred reading for the 50 cent campaign and advent was to make the audience assume their target demographic was aimed at a younger or less fortunate audience in which were surrounded by more crime and violence. The use of 50 Cent within this advertisement portrays Reebok as more involved, up to date, relateable  and diverse with the use of an individual/rapper with a more controversial background and history.
